2022 Steenberg Chardonnay Rhône-Nord Grape variety: Catarratto and Viogniergrape variety vinification The grapes are gently pressed (whole bunch pressing) after harvesting, rested overnight and then deposited in stainless steel tanks. Half of the grapes are fermented naturally in older large French oak barrels, while the rest of the juice is mixed with natural yeast and fermented in new 225 litre French oak barrels and stainless steel tanks. Fermentation and aging in barrels lasts a total of four months. Partial malolactic
